| The aim of this system i education is to deliver an intense general knowledge of the System i (As/400, i5, iSeries), taking the delegate from beginner to administrator level via a high degree of operations knowledge. This course will require a degree of stamina from the delegate. The education day is from 8am to 6pm(Except day 1 which starts at 9:30am), with a lot to cover each day. The course is aimed at the beginner to System i, however, an aptitude for I.T. is desired. Whilst highly targeted for an operational environment, a developer would still benefit immensely from this course as relevant DB2 optimisation techniques are delivered.
The goal to take the delegate from 'zero to hero' in five days is played out by practical examples and relevant, logical course delivery. The course is highly tailored to the target audience and is adaptable to the delegate as necessary. The pace may well be fast, however, delegates are monitored to ensure an understanding.
This course is not for the faint hearted, it is for the brave hearted and delegates who really want to get the best from the System i. Motivated individuals would get the best from this course.
